Sherlock | If we catch a criminal

Psmith, Zombie Slayer

What ho, all. :3 This is my first post to this particular comm., but I'm a long time fan of Psmith and Mike (and, of course, pslash). It just so happens that I was trying out a timed writing exercise the other day, with the prompt 'dignity' and it all went a bit Psmith. I thought you might like a look at the snippet. Well, if you don't mind silly crack fic.

Title: Psmith, Zombie Slayer
Warnings: None really.
Word count: 388
Summary: London is under attack from a legion of zombies. Mike and Psmith find themselves right in the thick of it.

Undead threatening everything you hold dear? Leave it to Psmith!Collapse )

Just icons this time.

Then I'll stop with this stuff for a while, promise. XD

11 icons under the cut. Shield your eyes. :PCollapse )

As you can see, I'm not really an icon-maker. *shrug*

Thanks to derien and eor for the link to the illustrations! :)

I was getting tired by the time I got around to making the icons last night, and when I looked at this I said, "That looks like Stephen Colbert with a monocle..."

Glorious Double-Posting

Hullo. It seems I wrote something the other night. I've edited it a bit since then, but it's still somewhat rambling and not really a story, per se.

Title: Not Exactly Innocent
Summary: It's basically a sort of summation of Mike and Psmith's relationship.
Pairing: Pslash, of course. Also Eve/Psmith and Mike/Phyllis. (Is anyone else a little weirded out by the fact that his wife has the same name as his sister? It almost didn't even occur to me until I typed the pairing name.)
Warnings: Spoilers for the last book. Some fairly heavy angst at one point. I didn't start out intending to write it, but there are some events in a person's life you can't really skip over...

Psmithery under the cutCollapse )

And then, because I'm bored and suddenly find myself without homework, I wrote a couple more ficlet-thingummies.

From the moment Mike had blurted out those three words...Collapse )

This next one is purely because I was sad/amused by Psmith's moping whenever Mike had to leave in "Psmith, Journalist." I suppose I should warn for smut, but I hardly think it qualifies...

I wanted to put something clever here, but I couldn't think of anything. Have some badly-written porn instead.Collapse )

And now a question. Does anyone know of any decent illustrations of the books that can be found online? I'm looking to make myself an icon...

Er, hello? *watches tumbleweed blow by* I, er, wrote a fanfiction.

Title: More than a Hat
Rating: Light PG for mentions of blood/violence.
Pairing: Suggestive of established Psmith/Mike
Summary: 'Cut up rough? Gadzooks! I need merely say that one critical reader put a bullet through my hat -'
'Rot! Not really?'
Mike's imagination is not content to shrug off the event leading to the loss of Psmith's hat.
Genre: Unabashed Fluff.
Warnings: See genre. Also, forgive my clumsy attempt at Psmith's dialogue. (In-story excuse: He's very tired.)

Mike seldom suffered from nightmares.Collapse )

Psmith - Crisp - me

Beta Goodness Sought

Hullo, all.  I have made a random stab at some Psmith, due to my brain stirring up interesting dreams about same.  Is there someone who would be willing to have a whack at beating it with a beta stick to see if it's even worth bothering with?  It's 2922 words.

If not, I thank you, naetheless, for your attention.

Fic: Night Over London

I have Psmith fic! Actually, my brain won't let me write anything else at the mo... Not that I mind, of course. Also, have I mentioned how gorgeous this comm layout is?

Title: Night Over London
Pairing: Psmith/Mike
Rating: Erm… PG-13?
Word Count: 1,791
Summary: Essentially, there is dinner. And what happens after. Pure fluffy fun.

Over at my journal

Donald and Timmy jealous?

Well, I'd like to write a Psmith story

But I want to finish reading all the books first. I've read Psmith in the City, Psmith, Journalist and am finishing up Mike and Psmith. A bit backward, I know. Then I need to dive into Leave it to Psmith.

I have a marvelous beta, but I will need a bit of advice on characterization when the time comes, probably in a couple of months. I'm working on two Jooster fics now so those must be done first. If anyone thinks they'll have some time in September, please let me know. I'd be grateful for the help. Thanks.

I believe tis my first post in here...
Just thought I'd spread some love... or... books.

*full text for "Psmith, Journalist" in parts*

*full text for "Mike" in parts*

Because some of us are deprived and have less of an opportunity to read great literature.

I bid you luck, Comrades!

Psmith Psyndrome

It amuses me greatly that TV Tropes has a trope called Psmith Psyndrome.

You can lose hours on TV Tropes. You have been warned.
